Irving Muslims PAC was founded in April 2025 during the Irving City Council election to fill a critical gap: the need for principled, faith-based civic engagement.
We are a grassroots group of concerned Irving Muslim residents who believe our civic engagement should be guided by clear principles and moral alignment, not by political favors or party loyalty. Our values reflect both our faith as Muslims and our rights as Americans, and they center on the pursuit of justice, the protection of religious freedom, the safeguarding of families, the defense of human dignity, and the call to moral responsibility in public life. Guided by the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the last Messenger of God, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), we evaluate candidates and issues based on values, not on political parties or personalities.
Our goal is to help build an informed, independent Muslim voting bloc that acts with clarity, integrity, and conscience, contributing positively to the broader public good.
These are the key principles that shape our engagement and decision-making:
Confronting hate in all forms and defending the safety, rights, and dignity of Muslims and all vulnerable communities.
Protecting the right of Muslims to live, worship, organize, and participate fully in Irving's public life without fear or discrimination.
Defending our public spaces, especially libraries and schools, from exposure to inappropriate and harmful materials.
Supporting candidates and initiatives with clear, honest funding sources.
Upholding our right to boycott, speak out, and advocate based on conscience and faith.
Resisting the spread of gambling establishments, alcohol and drug outlets, tobacco / vaping retailers, sexually oriented businesses, and other enterprises that undermine the moral and social fabric of our community.
Supporting leaders who are willing to call for peace and justice, both locally and globally, without hesitation.
Opposing anti-Muslim discrimination, political intimidation, and attacks on mosques, schools, and associations.

We reached out to all candidates and are awaiting additional responses. We will continue to share updates as we complete our research and identify those who reflect these principles.
We are a volunteer-run initiative with minimal expenses personally covered by our founders.
At this time, we are not seeking donations. Instead, we ask for your sincere du'a' that Allah keeps us steadfast, honest, transparent, and striving toward what's most pleasing to Him with ihsan.
